1. You drive to trekking base camp
All roads are suitable for two wheel drive vehicles (with care
and with vehicle clearance), so driving yourself is an easy option.
Coober Pedy
exists on the main bitumen "Stuart Highway" running
north-south across Australia. Our trekking base camp is 2-3 hours
easy drive time from Coober Pedy (see map).
2. Use our 4WD transit service
If you're not driving yourself, simply make your way to Coober
Pedy via air (ex Adelaide
or Alice Springs),
bus or rail,
and we'll organise your 4WD transit to our trekking base camp
and return (add $165/head). We'll provide specific details with
your booking confirmation. There is nothing to it.
